Those rooted and grounded in love,
gladly plant seeds in softened hearts—
Knowing the reward of self-discipline
grows and develops over a life-time.
Year after year they sow,
finally reaping harvest of buds and blooms
of the fruit of self-control.

Never will I leave you
I heard my Father say.

Sow seeds of
gentleness and mercy.
Water daily with
kindness and love.
Cultivate a heart of goodness,
and bloom sweet
fragrance of love.
Love formed and shaped
the mountain backdrop,
with brushes of pink
and shades of blue.
Blended contrast
of light and dark,
and carved out mountains
and valleys.
Love kissed the sky,
reflecting God’s Light and Glory.
And the beauty of God’s creation
bursts on the mountaintop.
Why should God share such beauty with us?
I believe all Creation declared the beauty and majesty of
God’s Holy Love the moment He spoke it into being—
Yet it took a Savior to brush strokes of love
upon our fallen souls.

What is this deep longing
only God can satisfy?
To know Him,
To hear His voice,
To feel the touch of eternal embrace,
And watch Him
Usher in a new morning.
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies
never come to an end; they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
