Just Beyond The Veil

Be encouraged dear pilgrim.
Our loved ones are
just beyond the veil,

surrounded by the cloud
of witnesses

who have gone before us.
They’re singing
the Song of our Redeemer,
and they’re waiting to welcome us home.

And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
‘Come up here’. Then they went up to heaven
in a cloud and their enemies watched them. Rev. 11:12

Who Am I?

Not who I am,
but Whose I am.
I belong to the great I Am,
Immortal,

Invisible,
Eternal,
Only Wise God.

Not what I’ve done,
but what He’s done.
For God so loved,
He gave grace
and forgiveness
through Jesus Christ,
Son and Savior.

Not where I live,
but where my eternal home is.
Not this is my home,
but heaven is my home;
and earth
my
dressing room.

Not what I want,
but what He wants.
That I love Him with all my heart,
 soul,
mind,
and strength,

and my neighbor as myself.

Not what I will,
but what He wills.
Not my reflection,
but His glory…
shining through
broken places
of my life.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1: 12,13
