I Choose to Rejoice Always

Featured

I’m still learning to trust God,
whether skies are stormy or clear,

During times of loss or gain,
in laughter or in tears….
Knowing the One who shelters me under the
shadow of His wings keeps me there.
My soul is safe and secure,
blessed beyond measure,
with a peace that passes all understanding….

All because God’s anointed Servant
willingly laid down His life
that I might truly live in this life
and for all eternity.

Rejoice in the Lord always; Again I say rejoice! Philippians 4:4
He poured out His life unto death, and was numbered
with the transgressors. For He bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
 Isaiah 53:sv. 12

It Took a Savior

Love formed and shaped the
mountain backdrop.
Blended shades of pink,
blue and purple.
Brushed contrast of light
and shadows,
and carved out mountains and valleys.

I believe all creation announced
the beauty of God’s
Holy love
the moment
He spoke it into being….
Yet it took a Savior to brush
strokes of love upon our needy hearts.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth,
and the Spirit of God was hovering over its surface.
Genesis 1:1,2 sv. NLT

For God so loved the world, He gave His only son, so that everyone who
believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 NLT

Praying Through The Storm

We’re passing through the storm,
Beloved of God.
Jesus is on board our battered ship,
speaking peace to stormy winds
and troubled hearts.

We’re pressing through the storm,
Child of God.
Jesus, our captain and navigator
controls the winds of change,
and has a sure destination in mind.

We’re praying through the storm,
Beloved of Christ.
He sees and knows when teardrops fall;
and He’s taking us to
the other side of the storm.

He calmed the storm to a whisper and
stilled the waves. What a blessing was that stillness, as He
brought them safely into harbor. Psalm 107:29,30 NLT

Looking to the Glory

Looking to the Glory
watercolor by Dorothy Jean Bryars

How could it be,
most precious
Passover Lamb of God,
slain before the foundation
of the world?
Your body and blood was
enough to forgive my sins
and restore me back
to fellowship with God.

How could it be Lord Jesus?
Death could not hold you
in that grave.
You arose from the dead,
and ascended back to
the Father, where you
now live to make
intercession for me.

Eternal God who spoke the world into being,
How could it be?
You stooped down to my level,
looked into my eyes
and said,
“My child I love you, and it was
for you I died.”

And in my heart, Truth whispers—
Love’s full redemption price was paid
in full through the grace of
 our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our loving Kinsman Redeemer.

Have a Blessed Easter as you look to the glory
of the Cross and Resurrection.

For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you,,
On the day of salvation, I helped you.”
Indeed the right time is now.
Today  is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2
