Whitest snow dusting trees like
powdered sugar frosting the earth.
My gift to you this day.
These are the bonus years.
Trust me, let go of
your grip of lesser things.
Take my hand and
walk with me…one step at a time.
You need not fear life’s changing seasons.
I’m already there, waiting for you.
Are you coming?
There are many things
I’ve yet to show you.
Many miles you’ve yet to travel,
Many roads to walk with me,
Many joys yet to know.
These are the bonus years.
The best lies just beyond the open door,
where hearts respond to Spirit’s call,
and Jesus bids us follow.
Lay your head on my shoulder,
and lean hard on me. Rejoice. Let Go. Let God.
Take my hand, I’ll lead you home.
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy
in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Psalm 16:11
Wow! these truly are our bonus years; the ones God gave us. Thank you!

Beautiful Glenda–I love the perspective of “bonus years.” Especially love this timeless truth: “This is still my purpose in Life, to Know Him and make Him known” Amen!! Even as so many things are constantly changing, it is reassuring to know there are a few things that DON’T change. So good to see a new post from you 🙂 Love and hugs to you!

Thank you Cindy. What a wonderful Savior is ours, indwelling and giving new perspective regardless of the season of our life. He never changes and in spite of the constant changes and unbelief around us, it is amazing to me He gives grace so that we continue to Believe in Him and His Word. Happy and blessed Thanksgiving to you Cindy. Thanks for your prayers and support.
