Picture Perfect?
So it appears…
Yet first impressions
are often
proved wrong.
A quick pivot revealed
I was flawed
and damaged,
far from perfect!
Some might have
thrown me away,
or put me
on the auction block.
But the potter
saw value
in the
broken vessel.
Reshaped and removed
the imperfections,
and placed a treasure
of love within.
The pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. Jeremiah 18:4
I love this! Thanks for posting it. The pictures and words are fantastic.

With a quick pivot we reveal our flaw – I love the beauty in our chips, when God reveals Himself to fill them flawless. This is beautiful, Glenda, thank you . . .

Oh Glenda, I had that pattern when we were first married! What a great memory, and YES – that Pfaltzgraff chipped more than it should have! Reminds me of that book (Barbara Johnson?), God Uses Cracked Pots. Thank goodness!

Mine is an old set also, but felt led to use it in that shot, chips and all.
