Weary and worn out from my journey
I sat down one day to pray.
And the Master who knew my heartache,
placed his hand on my head and prayed.
He prayed, Father, this is your daughter.
Come and heal her soul today.
Pour your oil upon her heartache,
and wipe all her tears away.
Don’t you know how much I love you?
Can’t you see I died for you?
And dear child if you love me,
take my hand and trust and obey.
Come to me when you’re weary and I will give you rest. Mathew 11:28
Beautiful, Glenda! I’m trusting Him today as I straighten my office and collect my thoughts about the Judges study He’s calling me to write. Blessings to you, my friend!

Susan, Thank you for stopping by today with words of encouragement. It does take trust to intentionally do those things God calls us to! I will be praying for you as you begin writing the Judges study.
Blessings to you also…and I call you my friend!

Becky, God is so faithful. He gave that poem-prayer-song so many years ago and brought it back this weekend as I was preparing the post. I started out in one direction and ended up a new one. Trusting God will lift hearts who read it. Thanks for stopping by and sharing words of encouragement. God bless you today!

Sweet sister, thank you for this word. It touched a vulnerable place today and I needed to hear it.
Stepping off a cliff, and needing to find myself standing on the ROCK

I’m so glad God used a poem He gave me over 20 years ago during a personal crisis. I was praying He would touch at least one heart who needed to hear it for themselves. Jeanne, you are so running the life of faith so well right now, putting one foot ahead of the other and just doing it! It’s almost time to celebrate the new change that’s just up ahead and I know it’s gonna be good.During those times when you feel you have jumped off a cliff, I pray you will sense God’s presence as He catches you in His arms and holds you close to Himself…and puts you back on your feet again. You have so many CCC friends praying and rooting for you during these days. We know God has awesome plans for you and we can hardly wait to see what they are.
You have run the race well!! WOO …how I would love to have a reunion of our CCC sisters.
